Follow these 5 simple steps and you'll be building your first base with your batchmates in about ten minutes. No technical knowledge needed.
MITASIA is a Java Edition server. It runs on PC, Mac and Linux. The phone (Bedrock) version cannot connect to it, so you'll need a computer — even a low-end laptop works.
Go to the official Minecraft website and download the Launcher for your operating system (Windows, macOS or Linux). Install it like any normal app and open it.
Open the launcher and sign in with your Microsoft account. If you don't have a Minecraft license, borrow one from a friend who plays — or use the account you already own. Make sure the launcher is set to the latest version.
In the main menu click Multiplayer, then Add Server. Give it any name you like — "MITASIA" works. Type the server address below exactly. Leave the port as default (25565).
Double-click MITASIA in your server list and wait a few seconds while the world loads. You'll spawn in a safe protected area. Say hi in the chat (press T), meet your batchmates, and start your adventure.
Five quick tips so your first night on MITASIA is fun instead of terrifying.
Hold left-click on a tree trunk to get wood. That's your first resource for everything.
Turn wood into planks, planks into a crafting table. Place it down to craft tools and more.
3 wool + 3 wood planks. Sleep at night to skip the dark hours and set your spawn point.
Cook raw meat in a furnace, or eat apples, bread and berries. Keep that hunger bar full.
Build a tall tower of dirt near your base so you never get lost while exploring.
Ask in chat for a partner. Building a base together is twice the fun and half the work.
MITASIA is a light vanilla server. If this laptop can run a browser, it can probably run Minecraft.
